Only 90 miles to the entrance of Juan de Fuca Strait. We expect to see mountains on the Eastern horizon in the morning, as the sun rises and are very excited. The weather is set fair for making landfall and we have the added bonus of a flood tide taking us into the strait.
We kept in good radio contact with the rest of the fleet and look forward to meeting up with many of them, as we shall all be cruising in the same area over the next season.
Our ETA at Neah Bay is around 10am local time (2000 UTC), just one day before Paul’s birthday. Perfect timing!
