This was our position at our  14.00 Panama time.
Now, as I am writing, we are 58 miles away from the Equator and are thinking about our special meeting and celebration with Neptune... unfortunately Paul has been struggling with a cold/flu for the last 3 days and we hope he will be feeling better by then.

Yesterday after supper we had a passenger for the night. A red footed booby (Sula sula) sat all night on the seat behind the wheel. What a pretty sea bird with its blue beak and red feet. They represent 5% of the population in the Galapagos and are the smallest of the boobies. A photo will follow soon!
Booby made our night watches very enjoyable and then flew away this morning about 08.30, circling Kahia several times before disappearing over the horizon.

It was a calm night again, we had to motor for 10 hours but were lucky to catch a light breeze and are sailing again since 11 am.
This afternoon we are sailing under the Cruising Chute alone. (Thinking of you Russell; it is a very, very useful sail for those light winds and flat seas!!)
We are doing 3 to 4 knots SOG and are very happy.
