We arrived here yesterday morning after a very pleasant motor sail through the night along the Northern coast of Big Island. S/V Libby was a few miles ahead of us and Paul enjoyed his radio chats with Terry until we turned South to our anchorage and they motored on to Honolulu on Oahu.
We rounded the tip of the island as dawn was breaking and enjoyed seeing our first "Hawaiian" humpback whales along the coast.
This little harbour is very peaceful and gives us excellent protection from the swell. After a good night sleep, we feel well rested and ready to go exploring this part of the island.
