Arrived yesterday in blazing sunshine in Camarinas, anchored in the Ria and went ashore to find a wifi cafe (forgot to take our position with us, sorry for the delay!).

Decided to stay another day awaiting a favourable long term weather forecast for our crossing back to England (it appears that the storm/hurricane works its way up to the UK.)

As it turns out, by spending a little more time here, we appreciate the rural atmosphere and backdrop of white beaches, hills and mountains ( many hills are covered in wind-turbines counted in hundreds. We hope they are eco friendly and effective as the sight is unfortunate for the beautiful landscape).

A busy fishing town and also famous for the intricate and fine lacework.
