We arrived here on Friday night, looking for a mooring buoy in the dark. Thanks to Ed, an American sailor, who came out in his dinghy we were able to tie on safe and easy just opposite Karel’s Bar. It was Friday night and we forgot about Party night... so as we sank tired into our bunk, the music was thumping until 4 am. This time we heard more South American and Cuban beats, different to the Eastern Caribbean Reggae.

We love it here. Everybody is so relaxed and friendly.

The diving and snorkelling is truly amazing and we are both well kitted out now. What a pity we are not able to take under water pictures.

Yesterday we had our first sunburns, luckily not too bad, but a little reminder to watch out when we are out and about.

We also caught up with our “Antigua Christmas Group” and enjoyed catching up with everybody. Actually we had time to meet the Norwegians from Camelot properly.

Gunnar and Vibeke are sailing with their children Julia(15) and Oscar(13) to the Pacific and we really look forward to spending more time together.

Tomorrow we have a short day sail to Curacao.
