Day 2
Kahia
Paul and Catherine Davis
Sun 3 Nov 2013 22:51

We had a superb sail with flat seas until in the early
morning hours the wind dropped to 4-5 knots from the NE. Since then we are
motoring and use the power to make water and charge up our electronic
devises.
The captain made a royal breakfast with bacon, eggs and
delicious coffee, a true delight to wake up to and start my
watch!
Now the galley and boat is tip-top, clean and tidy to
enjoy another beautiful day at sea (which the captain will shortly wake up
to!)
The sun is hot, not a single cloud in the sky and the
sea is peaceful and calm. Life on Kahia is very relaxed.
48 hour log: covered 295 miles, 43.5 hours under sail,
4.5 hours motoring
