The light winds yesterday turned quickly to 15 Kts and all day we had Easterlies 17-24 Kts with a lively sea.
Keeping Kahia sailing as close to the wind as possible, well East of our track, in preparation to the Northerly winds coming our way, which will push us back on our track very soon.
Life on board is relaxed and enjoyable with one excitement in the afternoon, when a whale passed across our bow less then a boat length ahead.

5 day log: covered 691 nm

Even with the light winds we were able to do 123 nm in 24 hours.

As I am writing before sending out the blog, we are already 11 hours into Day 6 and the weather front is coming through with a NE wind, rain and a new course to steer.
