Yesterday afternoon the wind dropped slightly but we were near a beat and had to ease off the wind, which changed our destination to a different atoll, now we are able to go back on our original tack with a steady force 6 ENE pushing us along, hopefully making for Kuehi.
We had a large black and white seabird spending the night perched on the dinghy outboard on the aft. It looked like a yellow footed booby, if that exists.
A pleasant companion for the night watch.
It is just turning 7 am and the sun is already very hot.
