Tricky sailing around the trailing western edge of the High Pressure system. Lovely flat sea but very light shifting winds. We managed to sail 120 miles in the last 24 hours and are very happy to have covered 1005 miles in 7 days without the use of the engine.
Dolphins have been with us twice and keeping company with us is a beautiful brown backed albatross.
We are well rested and enjoying the cooler airs of the Northern Hemisphere. Last night, Captain Paul wore his long sailing trousers again (and pleased to say, they still fit him) for the first time after four years.
