We have enjoyed our stay here, letting the gale force
winds go through and were encouraged to visit Rangiroa, the second largest atoll
of the world just 85 miles from here and on the way to Tahiti. So we are
preparing to leave this afternoon with the start of the ebb tide through the
passage; hoping with wind and current together, we should have a less dramatic
exit.
