We are still in Fatu-Hiva and will go to another anchorage today, waiting for some wind to pick up to sail North.
I am recovering well from Ciguatera, but had a reaction to wine I drunk yesterday evening, shivering and having burning skin all over the body.
We look forward to reading Thor Heyerdahl's book "Fatu Hiva, Back to Nature". Roberto, a local from Omoa lend us the English and French version, so we can both read the book at the same time. His mother is featured in the book, when she was a child and there was a touching reunion when Heyerdahl returned many years later re-connecting with the people he had been with as a young man and bringing them a copy of his book with amazing photos.

Our water-maker is still faulty, but with remote support via e-mails from Jim, the Schenker agent back in the UK, we will get the unit working!
We have good access to clean water and Paul is doing regular water runs in the dinghy to keep the tanks filled up.

Our Generator is playing up again so we will have to work on it again to get it hopefully going soon.
Yesterday the Aranui (the supply boat) arrived and we were able to buy some carrots, onions, a cabbage and potatoes as well as other stable foods. Paul is lucky we can get some baked beans here! So besides enjoying the delicious local food, we pretty much continue with our European habits.
