By 15.30 this afternoon we will have sailed 72 hours, 3 full days. We motored a little yesterday afternoon and in the night. Sailing again since 3 am with the hydrovane is so much more peaceful, on the other hand it was important to get our batteries topped up again and the motion was easier than wallowing in very little wind. We can now see the archipelago of Madeira on our chart-plotter and would like to run into Porto Santo before the strong winds forecast but looking at our ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) it will be in the pitch black of the night , not at all to Catherine's liking, considering the unlit rocks at the approach. Well we have a whole day to make a decision and see the new Grib file (weather).
