We anchored fore and aft in a very crowded anchorage. It was the best decision to wait until daylight.
It is 9 am local time, and we will go ashore to check in, meet the Polynesians and hopefully find some fresh food to buy. We are surrounded by a high rocky shore covered in lush green vegetation and some beautiful houses overlooking the bay. The sun is out, it is very hot and humid and
the top of the mountains are covered in thick clouds.
We did it! Our longest ocean passage in the largest ocean of the world!
