Just before nightfall we tacked downwind, which required setting up the spinnaker pole out to port. This was quite difficult with our good boat speed, large quartering seas and the risk of a jibe when both working on the foredeck. All went well and about two hours later the wind shifted to East South East, making it a much more comfortable ride surfing down the waves, now dead astern.
We moved our sleeping quarter from the aft cabin to the stbd saloon bunk for a better sleep in the rolling motion.
Funny thing this morning is the experience to see the sun rising later and later. The time zone travel has just dawned on us. As we are writing at 16.00 UTC navigational clock and have set the ships clock to Antigua time back four hours to 12 noon. Lucky we have some time to adapt.
1274 NM to go!

Thanks Russell for your texts, they are getting through ok. Great to hear from you and getting weather info on the low forming north of us is very helpful.
It is big discussion on the Magellan net in the mornings and we are trying to listen into Herb tonight at 19:00 to prepare our strategy, ready for a safe journey!
