Iluka Yamba, Clarence river

All the Sandbars at the river entrances of New South Wales are potentially hazardous due to the shallow water and sea conditions.
As the tide and sea swell was to our favour we decided to enter the Clarence river. Once inside and with just 1/2 meter clearance under our keel, we worked our way into the Bay of Iluka to find our most calm and peaceful anchorage since Fiji about four months ago.
