The sail from Martinique was exuberant and it took three hours to get here. We anchored in the Bay and on our way back from Customs had a drink on Blue Moon (Last seen in Mindelo, Cape Verdes). It was so uplifting and encouraging to catch up with Jimmy and Caroline who have been travelling for 7 years and are now returning to the States.

Since Monday we are in the Marina and are doing major repair work on the steering.

The fridge broke down again, so we had someone else checking it. One valve was not done up properly in Antigua and we lost the refrigerant. Paul has to also fit a new thermostat... and our wind instrument gave up, so a trip up the mast is planned for tomorrow.

All these repairs, checking out help and resources has been pretty exhausting and we have not been able to visit the island or the nearby beach. We must have adapted to the climate as we keep working with 90˚F (35˚C) in the boat, getting used to sweating through the day...
