Rough sea and 30 knots (Kts) of wind kept us on our toes last night. We are still sailing with 2 reefs in the main and 2 reefed headsails on a port beam reach with 20 to 23 Kts of wind from the SW making good speed. Gradually getting our sea legs after 7 months of New Zealand coastal sailing and long time in protected anchorages.
We enjoy hearing familiar voices on the 'Drifters Net', as we are checking in every morning at 08.30 local time and look forward to catching up with all those already in Fiji.
