Since yesterday's blog the wind kept steadily increasing
to up to 25 knots of wind, which kept us very alert through the night. Balancing
acts have started again for cooking and showering but we are excited as we are
flying along. We covered 183 nm on our 24 hour plot. We have now sailed 1118 nm
and have 1886 nm to go! As I am writing the wind has moderated to a steady 17
knots and the waves are less dramatic. Today we were able to make radio contact
with sailing vessel 'Moin' our German friends. They only had 400 nm to
go and we look forward to speaking to them again
tomorrow.
