After a night off Taboga Island where we washed the boat down from the dirt of the city, we motored 32nm to the Las Perlas Island.

On the way we saw a pod of Pilote Whales  and some where jumping up in the air. Breathtaking!

Our first anchorage on the South side of Contadora was such a treat. We are back to island life and enjoyed the peace and quiet, as well as a well deserved swim off the snow white beach.

We love our peaceful spot, filled with wildlife activity. The sea is full of shoals of fish, we saw another big turtle swimming by and pelicans flying in large groups over and around us.

At night we were woken up by fish swimming and jumping in the water, all around us the plankton flickered like a million stars in the night sky. It was magic and worth been woken up for.

We stayed on deck for a while and then returned to a restful sleep.
