We anchored between a cluster of islands and visited the villages.

Our first visit was the Smithonian institute. When we arrived the owner (Juan?) welcomed us with very good English and told us that the research centre was long gone.

We had a beautiful encounter and many questions about the traditions were answered. I took more photos of Molas, which is part of one of my projects.

This Mola represents the clay pot were roots and plants are burned.

Kuna Indians are in general very little people which makes us look like giants.

In Nalunega we met a very interesting artist and learned a lot about the Kuna believes and stories, he also was very active about the sad state of pollution in the sea, affecting the world as a whole.
