To Bahamas
We left South Bank Marina at high tide 07.00 in the morning (the entrance is only 1,5m at low tide) and spent three hours eye ball navigating the Caicos Bank before we were out in open ocean.
The passage to Little Inagua (50Nm) was a nice ride and Mercedes caught a tuna on the way. Little Inagua is in the very south east of the Bahamas, uninhabited, inaccessible and a nature reserve. Being out of reach of the diving industry diving is pristine with alive coral reefs and a vibrant marine life.
The drop off is very close to land and we anchored on 5m on the sandbank with the drop off just behind the stern. Dropping anchor at sunset several sharks circled Dora Mac (feeding time for many shark species).
Tuna steak anchored alone in a diving paradise makes memories from hard work, service and repairs fade away.
