Max, Claude and Benj took the hire car back in the morning, with a small diversion for frozen Key Lime Pie. Apparently it was as sweet and sickly as it looks.

Whilst they were gone, Nick found a local electronics man who came and fixed our autopilot. It gave up the ghost just over a week ago so we have been hand steering. Quite fun with crew but much less fun with just two of us in rain! Turned out to be a quick and cheap fix, very unusual and worth celebrating – with M+Ms that Claude also used to send a birthday wish.
