An interesting month seeing doctors and visiting family.

Claude and Benj moved house whilst I was there and now are in a much bigger place in Brighton so easier to stay with them. I also went to see a Green Party Comedy Benefit gig which was very funny if slightly uncomfortable to sit through.

Spent some time in Buckingham and went to a concert to see my sister Lisa singing with her local choral society. My other sister Deborah also came as well as my parents. I can’t remember the last time the three girls were together.

I also visited my brother Matthew and his family in London, collected Max from Cambridge to take him to see the new flat in Brighton and go to another comedy gig with Claude, and spent time with my parents in Buckden.

Between travelling to see family I saw innumerable doctors to discover that none of them really know what is wrong but that the kidney looks like it met its demise from an infection several years ago that I have no recollection of (and so am somewhat dubious about). Still, the advantage of having had a CT is that I do know that nothing sinister is wrong which is good and my other kidney is very happy so I don’t need to worry about that. And the pain is getting better slowly.....

Meanwhile Nick has been soldiering on with tasks on the boat and has managed to fix the outboard which is very exciting. He stayed in Pennekamp whilst I was in England, secure on the mooring and  easy to get ashore.
