We have discovered an outfit called WildQuest than operate a ‘swim with wild dolphins experience’. The boat they use is a Lagoon 380 called DolphinQuest that we have seen sail passed at the end of the day. We decided to follow it today and see if we could find out where they go to.

It turned out that they went to a snorkel site about 3 miles up the beach for lunch, called Bimini Road or The Road to Atlantis. It gets its name because of a line of rectangular limestone slabs that lie in a line on the bottom, reminiscent of a road, pavement or wall. Some Atlantologists (apparently a real word) believe this may be the lost city of Atlantis. Funnily enough there is no evidence to support it is a man-made structure..................but the Bahamas to fall inside ‘The Bermuda Triangle’.

It did actually look more like paving slabs than the pictures shpw. Meanwhile, DolphinQuest left whilst we were in the water so we were none the wiser about the dolphins.
