We woke to discover we were underneath the flight path for the private airfield and its surprisingly large aircraft! We re-anchored in a safer spot and then Nick went ashore to clear in to the Bahamas.

Although this is a port of entry for visiting boats, you get to pay an additional $110 on top of the $300 that you have to pay for a cruising licence – as it is private and I guess they get to choose!

We decided to go to North Bimini instead and pay the regular fee. As we left, we noticed their rubbish dump – could try harder I feel!

Arrived in Bimini about 17.00 again and anchored off Alice Town in more beautiful water.
