After spending Christmas and New Year in Bequia, we have decided to come back south to Grenada again - via Union and Carriacou.  We like Grenada, its easier to get boat stuff fixed and Richard and Julia (Nicks brother and his wife) have decided to come out and see us for a fortnight at the beginning of February. They are going to stay in a hotel by the beach though as their sea legs may not be coming with them! An excellent idea to come to the sunshine in February.

Afterwards, our current plan is to nip back to Trinidad - the cheap diesel is calling us as it is only 70 miles from Grenada and our tanks take 800 litres! We will then head north to meet Claudia, Benj, Max and Helen in St Lucia at the beginning of March. We are also going to have our family Christmas then so all very exciting. Then on to the US to do the trip we tried to do last year but were thwarted by poor immigration information.

Photos are of St Davids Bay, very quiet and peaceful after party time in Bequia. It also has a marina that can haul big fat catamarans like ours.  An attractive alternative to Trinidad next time we have to paint the bottom - not so many boat services, and no local shops, but at least you can go for a swim at the end of the day, and there are many palm trees.  Sadly too quiet for the chi-chi resort that appears to have closed!
