Carriacou is a medium sized island that is part of Grenada. 13 square miles, population of 5,000 and no rivers. They have to catch all their water -  which is what we did yesterday when it poured with rain.  I bought a large paddling pool before we left specially for the purpose. We filled one of the three water tanks in an afternoon - 600litres -  thanks very much (although it does taste a little like paddling pools!) We have come here to see a French man who has been here for 25 years and makes stainless steel boat stuff from his trimaran workshop in the bay. We hope he can make us a grab rail to around the mast to hang on to if it gets a bit bumpy.  The design is suprisingly like a zimmer frame!
