We had a calm passage to Kythnos, but had to motor sail all the way. We tried last year to get into Kolona Bay, but it was full and crowded, this time though we arrived at lunchtime and had a choice of anchorages to choose from.  This bay is on all the postcards of Greece. It consists of two bays divided by a sand spit, nothing really special, but a pleasant place to while away a Greek afternoon and evening if it wasn’t for the loud music put out by the taverna on the beach:(
