22/06/22 Gocek anchorage to Kizilkuyruk Koyu

Weather: Hot, sunny, Temp 33’c seat temp 28.7’c. light NW wind with 20kt gusts.

Left Gocek at 1105 and put up a full Main and full Genoa. Wind directly behind us and we needed to head up a bit to maintain boat speed. Gusts where difficult at times later on in the passage. Arrived Kizilkuyruk at 1333, anchored with long line ashore. Swam, then after lunch visited the Byzantine and Roman ruins about a 40 min walk up the hill.

We have decided to go straight to Marmaris tomorrow if the weather/wind allows. The Meltemi is settling in giving stronger winds in a NW/NE/N direction.
