Position Report
9th November
2006 04.25 - Winds NE force 3/4. Seas are very rolly and
only have the main up. We have a very bright moon and zillions of stars even
though it’s a bit cloudy. Later in the morning when it became light we
saw a large school of dolphins. Put the fishing rod out later and had 2 bites
but they got away. Later found a rather crispy squid on the deck. Tried to
use it as bait for the illusive tuna to no avail. Wind is behind us at around 10 to 12 knots.
Foxglove have caught us up but they are not having fun with the rolly seas.
Sinead is not well with a cold so Pat is doing most of the watches. It’s
bit tough for the both of them. We’ve started using the generator instead of
the engine now as the batteries are dying after about an hour even when we
charge them for an hour. |
