Having spent a couple of months in Palma we had to leave as the berth had been given away!!  We therefore took the short trip across the bay to Arenal with the help of Jon’s brother Dave.  It only took a couple of hours and it was a beautiful sunny day, which didn’t last I might add and pored with rain just as we started to moor up.  It was quite entertaining counting the number of Air Berlin flights coming into Palma.  Think we gave up after about a dozen! Sure enough, on arrival, we found it to be very German.  The Marina facilities were excellent and the Club Nautico Arenal had a pool, restaurant and bar available to us.  Small consolation for the mega berthing costs we had to pay!
