Papanoa, fishing outpost 40 miles down coast from Ixtapa. Nice anchorage, and fresh oysters and beer in the shack on the shore. Just a few local pangas and a really good little harbour surrounded by high hills and woodland. Ramsey visited the galley last night with Salmon and a fresh mango Salsa, washed down by a very naughty South African red. Suffering badly onboard now, as white wine has run out, and we are forced to drink red with fish.

Left at 07.15 as the sun rose (see pics). Not a great nights sleep as the smell of Marijuaha wafted accross the anchorage all night (no wonder the locals seemed so contented), sea calm, wind on the nose and smelly engines on full. 12hrs to repairs, water fuel and marina showers. Actually we will arrive too late to enter the Yacht Club, so will anchor off and go in tomorrow all being well. Long day ahead.
