Tearing away from the dock at La Cruz.
Well, Kids have fished themselves to a standstill. The local puffer fish will be glad to see us leave as they are hauled out on a daily basis for inspection. Boys learned to surf standing up and sail sitting down in dinghies, as well as play a mean game of pool! marine shops and services here remain shockingly good, and its like being in a different Mexico. Nice people, great service and decent pricing. Hard to leave but been stuck here long enough and way longer than planned, Super place, and will miss it! But now the new golden marine toilet seat ( a snip at $80!) is installed, we are out of good reasons to delay and the weather system that delayed us has moved North (hopefully). The dinghy outboard apart from lining the pockets of various mechanics of various abilities down the coast, thus far, has has failed to reveal its mysteries and continues to be a source of some frustration. It may be scuttled soon. Runs perfect for 15 minutes then dies. Have given up trying to fix it, and having replaced numerous bits with no success, we could keep on throwing money at it with no guarantee of success. Leaving at 5pm tonight for an overnight sail down to a bay called Chamella, which is supposed to be really nice. 99 miles......and will update on position through the night sometime. Here are some pictures as we promissed before... ! hope the tape of the sail fish goes better for you on internet, for some reason we can no make it to play well in the computer. Hope you can see it better than us. Must go and attend captains call, but will be back as soon as we are on our way!!!! in spanish of course too :) Hope you enjoy the pics, they talk a lot more than words!! :) bye for now... sol and boys.
