We have had another couple of days of excellent sailing around Antigua. Julia has completed her "competent crew" qualification, signed off by Simon and Nigel.

Saturday, we anchored in Ffryes Bay after a few hours sailing, including a man overboard exercise. No one volunteered so a bucket attached to a fender sufficed. We all went ashore to the beach bar later - 3 beers, 2 tots of rum for $10. Back to the boat for delicious seafood pasta.

Sunday, another good sailing day, the wind increased so we needed 1 then 2 reefs in the main sail. We anchored in Carlisle Bay again, slightly nearer the shore this time, so some of the crew took the kayak ashore.  As it was Colin and Julia's last night, we went ashore to the 5* hotel for cocktails - excellent and a lovely setting. Back on board for a steak dinner, delicious again.

Tomorrow, we head back to Falmouth Bay so Colin and Julia can leave for their flight home. We will stock up on provisions, a visit to the laundry for clean bedding and towels and chase up the repair bill. Our plan is to head to the BVIs next.
