The wind refused to blow but the gulf stream continued to push us northwards, whilst treating us to a sauna at the same time. At times it was contributing over 4 knots to our forward speed so with the engine running we were making around 11 knots over the ground.   At this rate were making progress at a rate of around 260 miles per day!

Here’s a picture taken whilst we were in the Gulf Stream.  Note how little wind there was.
