On Saturday 25th October, we slipped our lines at Herrington Harbour and sailed down to Solomon’s Island.  The sun shone and there was a good sailing breeze, so it was in fact a perfect birthday for me.  We arrived at Solomon’s late afternoon and found quite a few boats anchored there.  We found a good spot outside the fairway to drop our anchor and had hardly been there for a few minutes when a small power boater told us to move as we were blocking the channel.  It was patently obvious that the wide expanse of water in front of us was the channel and we were not anywhere near to it.  We just ignored him and had a peaceful night.
