We’ve arrived in the marina at Mindelo, Sao Vicente, Cape Verde Islands.  Everything is fine, it’s warm and sunny and the town is quite magical.  After the best part of a week at sea we are still probably enjoying the glow that would result from any sort of landfall, but regardless of that the combination of Portuguese and African cultures has a real vibrancy that promises to make the next few days here real fun.  The next post will hopefully have some pictures.
