Antisamos, Agia Eufimia

Left Fiskardo after extracting a chain that had been laid over ours then
head south down the channel between Ithica and Kefallonia beating against an
8 knot wind. After a few tacks, start getting a consistent starboard tack
lift as the wind clocks around in the same manner as Sunday. Wind freshens
to 12 knots and we have a beautiful sail to Antisamos Bay mid way down
Kefallonia. Anchor for lunch and a swim in the first notch on the north
side of the bay in 20 metres. There is a pretty little beach tucked in the
corner with a mooring ring on a rock to seaward - a good anchorage in a
north or west wind.

Move on to Agia Eufimia about 17:00. The harbour master flags us in to a
great spot on the harbour front with 3+ metres along the wall. Lots of space
and well suited to the typical winds. Anchor grips well. The village is
nice, tidy but nothing architecturally notable. Water beautiful and clean.
Harbour fees E29 including water and juice.

Jimmy and Gillian are off to the Argostoli airport tomorrow. A 1 hour trip
to cover a distance of 11 miles as the crow flies.
