After two days of heavy rain and cold, cosied up to the dock in Korcula, the sun finally broke out and we made a run for Hvar (32mi). The wind of course was against us but it clocked arround enough for a couple of hours of beating in 16kn winds.

We arrived a little after 2:00 and the harbourmaster told us to anchor off and he would have a spot for us on the town dock in about an hour. The holding imediately off the dock was excellent and many people opt to anchor out but we took advantage of the chance to be in the middle of it. As the wind was on the dock, he advised us to set our anchor as a back up to their hold off line. All that was fine but once in our spot we managed to suck the hold off line into the bow thruster requiring the services of a diver who was close at hand. All sorted within the hour and we were off on a trek through town. Pretty town, several very nice up market hotels.
