Bound for Kotor. expect to motor against modest headwinds all the way. Beautiful Day.

Stopped in Gouvia on the way out hoping to pick up a jib car to replace one that had blown up on Friday. We had jury rigged the broken car during the MSR race and the repair parts had not arrived before our departure from Malta. Balls started firing out of it under load and it eventually jumped the track. The excellent chandlery in Gouvia had ordered a new car from the distributor in Athens but unfortunately it had not made the courier's cut off.

We never did get cleared in in Greece. The cruising guide said we should do this in Gouvia rather than Corfu Town. The port authority in Gouvi was about to send us to Town to pay aE30 fee and then come back to clear in when they realised we wre a non-EU boat and so they instructed us to go to the Customs Office in Town and do all the clearance there. The office was closed when we arrived 4:00pm. We decided we'll leave it to our next visit.

We quite liked Corfu. Lots of pretty anchorages. It looks like a very comfortable place to cruise.
