Motored over to Vis in calm winds. Arriving at 1:00 there was a lot of space available along the town front. 4 metres depth alongside. Took a long walk to the east of town past Kut. Dinner at Villa Kaliopa in Kut - (Alex & Ika Green's note had this as the place where the folks from the big boats dine). Tables are set in a 16th century walled garden, each table surrounded by small palms. Service and food excellent. Shared antipasto of capers, tuna & monkfish cappaccio, anchovy wrapped Pag cheese, sardines etc / John Dory for C&M Scorpion fish for L&M, very nice Vis white wine - fruity and refreshing. $55/pp.

When we had returned from the restaurant, 10:00, dock was bustling with perhaps 100 boats docked stern to. The town front is 1/4 mile long and can accommodate a lot of boats. Other boats were stern to in Kut and anchored in the bay.
