Beautiful run 35 miles to Korcula, winds up to 22 knots, wing and wing,
speed up to 10 knots. Pas by 30+ windsurfers and kite sailors as we near
the town. Arriving at 18:00, the ACI marina was full. At suggestion of the
marina staff, tried anchoring in lee of old town but were told off. Move
around to Uvala Luka 1/4 mile east and are surprised to find good room to
anchor in 8m. Dinghy ashore and short walk to town. Harbourmaster comes by
to pick up 150Kn fee. Water nice and clean - good swimming.

Korcula town, birthplace of Marco Polo very attractive and active - brass
band playing a concert from the town walls.

Dinner at Marino, Ken's steak excellent, M&L amberjack OK, veg & trimmings
OK $35/pp house wine. Return to loud music coming across Ulva Luka from a
hotel on the east side.

Friday morning head back to ACI, hoping to fill water tanks, told to go to
the west town dock. Stern to west camber using anchor, good depth alongside
but Harbourmaster will not allow us to get water. Go back and get into ACI
for an hour. At first they wanted us to pay 1/2 day fee, then settled for
30kn cash to the Sailor.
