12:30 - Head for Our Lady of the Rocks - Les hovers while Mags, Ken &
Kristie take dinghy ashore for inspection.
1:30 - stop for a swim and lunch on south side of bay near fish farm. Anchor
in 25 metres, chain not on gypsy when released - 120 metres rocket out until
reaching the shackled end. Hell of a noise but no real problem except the
chain is covered in mud from the fish farm as it comes up.
3:30 - Enter Porto Montenegro. Led to dock near main pier. E$68/night & E$10
w& 36 amps. Very nice docks, new condos done very well.
Dinner at Prima Vera hotel in old town E$60/2. Old town is nice but
definitely working class. Interesting contrast to expensive villas being
built at P M. Tour villas next morning. E$550k for 1100 sq ft, E$1650k for
1700 sq ft.
Porto Montenegro opened their customs clearance facility Thursday morning
and we are the first boat to clear through. Local TV crew there to interview
us. Very quick and efficient.
