Beautiful SW wind 8 - 12 gives us a close reach at 8 knots for 18 miles to Milna, Brac. Moor stern to the town quay in front of Konoba Gajeta where we had had a great meal a month ago with Court & Monica. Harbour is managed by ACI so fully priced @ 850kn for the night.
Go for a repeat at K Gajeta and it is again excellent - carpaccio of herring on very tart arugula, angler fish in a truffle sauce, a litre the house white - Belje Chardonnay all for 180kn /pp. Probably amongst the best value this summer.
Wander up to church courtyard after supper - a free concert is underway - 3 man band - electric ukulele, clarinet and percussion - half in English half in Croatian. Sort of REM style. Excellent!! Great crowd very much into the music.
