Leaving Dubrovnik bound for Miljet. Cloudy NE 5 but expected to clear.
 
Enjoyed Dubrovnik. Impressed by the architecture, how clean and well maintained the city and surrounding areas are. More like Sweden than a Mediterranean country.
Highlights - Walls, Maritime Museum, Rectors Palace.
 
Restaurant Reviews
Cafe Royal, Pucic Palace - favourite, interesting menu not just seafood, great venue
Nautika - overlooking the bay in front of the city gate. Good seafood, a bit pricey
Proto - same management as Nautika, city centre, very professional, good food, less expensive
Antunini - along a crowded lane, typical Croatian seafood menu but superior quality
Spaghetteria Toni - great lunch salad. Inexpensive.
Konavoski Dvori- about 12 miles south of the airport in a river valley, Beautiful trip out past Cavtat. Local trout a speciality - excellent.
