Our crossing through Bligh Water was uneventful and we were able to sail the whole way averaging around 6 knots with 10-15 knots of wind; fortunately for us, it was a nice and easy trip as opposed to some stories we have heard from other cruisers about strong winds and rough seas. We were very excited when we had a fish on the line and realized that it was a Wahoo!! (we seem to have been catching only skipjack which is not very tasty)……nice work Aaron! We anchored off of a small village on the mainland of Vanua Levu and are leaving soon for a different anchorage for tonight….
