Finally got the right winds we were looking
for. Now we are on a direct south heading with wsw winds. Looks like
we will be there by 2 or 3a.m.. Not concerned with a night landing as I
have ask a few people about the night approach to Opua and heard it is easy and
very well lit. What a way to end the trip, sunny skies perfect wind and
calm seas. I think the window is closing however tomorrow morning and the
boats behind us are going to get whacked tomorrow afternoon with a 35knt
southwesterly. Doin 6.6knts on a close haul and life couldn't be
better.
