Birthday in Bora!

What more could you ask for than to spend your 25th
birthday celebrating with friends on a tropical island
paradise of dreams, in a little place called Bora Bora?.....Well that
is exactly how I spent my birthday on the 18th of this month, starting the day
off right with a nutritious (yet delicious!) multi-grain French toast breakfast
prepared by my amazing boyfriend, after which I opened all the cards that my
family had sent with me while I was home visiting in June......Thank you
all so much for the nice cards and I miss you lots!! After resting a
bit, Aaron and I went on our first hike/ in-land exploration
of the island. The 2 hour hike was just what my body needed after being cooped
up on the boat for so long and the views from the top were amazing,
definitely proving why the lagoon of Bora Bora is said to be one of the
most beautiful in the world (pictures to follow!) Later that evening came
cocktails on the boat followed by dinner at the Bora Bora Yacht
Club. The night was made even better as some of our boating
friends and our new friend Lovina, whom we met on Tahaa, were
there to celebrate with us as well. Dinner was served above
shimmering white sand and coral illuminated by underwater lights complete with
electric blue and red fish swimming around below the deck where we sat. Needless
to say, dinner was fantastic, the rum punches were even better, and my
birthday in Bora Bora turned out to be more beautiful than I had
even imagined. ~LH
