Early start to get the mainsail ashore and back to Owens.  They could not have been more helpful – or apologetic: we were met with the phrase ‘I know why you’re here and and I know what we did wrong...’

So whilst they fixed it we drove back to Ganavan Bay and tried out our new lightweight walking gear on a hilly trek to Dunstaffnage Castle.  Very worthwhile; passed the Marine Science Institute on the way (clearly EU funded) and had a very good look around the castle.  Shortcut back along a splendid cycle track from Drombeg and then rendezvoused with the lady from Owen Sails...  All seems ‘good to go’ for tomorrow...
