Although this anchorage is tucked just behind the headland jutting out into the pacific swell, it does provide very good protection.

Our Navionics charts on the Chartplotter are showing our last two anchorages on land, so we are glad we arrived early enough to enable us to anchor with good light and visual references.

We were able at last to enjoy some very pleasant sailing conditions with a few wind shifts and only a few hours of motor-sailing and at the end of the day we were ready for some rest. After a good night sleep we are doing some light canvas repairs today, waiting for some better conditions to round this headland. The little wind we feel in the anchorage makes life aboard more comfortable, as the days are very hot.

We are sharing this quiet anchorage with a navy vessel and a local fishing boat.

The water is clean and manta rays have been displaying the most acrobatic jumps out of the sea.
